So for the last while I have been quiet (again), well once again I will make noises that I am going to try harder and all the rest about this blogging business.

This time I have a reasonable enough excuse, I was away on holidays and last week I was in Barcelona at Tech Ed EMEA 2008. I also recently rebuilt my laptop so I had to recover some of the posts I had been working on and just have not got back to finishing them.

I really enjoyed Tech Ed, there was loads of good sessions that I attended and there was a good bunch of people over from Ireland that really made it an enjoyable event.

There looks to be some interesting things coming in Windows Server 2008 R2 such as Direct Access and the improvements in Hyper-V look really good with Live Migration support been introduced.
